This cruise has always been on a Royal Caribbean Oasis class ship, which has been the largest cruise ships in the world for several years, only recently usurped by the new Icon class. Previous years has featured various members of the Oasis family (Oasis, Symphony, and Harmony) but Allure is the one that Atlantis has chartered the most.

Since her last Atlantis sailing, Allure has undergone a massive $100+ million "Royal Amplification" renovation in 2025, and is now the freshest member of the Oasis class.

The JustJoeyT Forecast

Hey Joey, what’s this cruise gonna be like?

  • Partying - this is THE Atlantis party cruise of the year, bar none. The massive party venues will be packed.

  • A large ship that has something for everyone. If you don’t wanna party, there are tons of chill and relaxing spaces and activities onboard far away from the party venues.

  • Escaping the freezing winter weather from wherever you live.

  • A cruise with a good amount of younger boys, although with over 5000+ passengers onboard, every age group is well represented.

  • A private all-day gay beach party in the Bahamas. It’s rare for an Atlantis sailing to have beach club access.

Best For…

  • Super interesting ports with lots of exciting shore excursions. This one is more about the beach club and what’s happening onboard.

  • A low-key atmosphere throughout the entire ship - there will be lots of party boys onboard. Not everyone is partying everywhere at all times, but the boys in general will be rowdier than other Atlantis cruises.

  • Running into the same people repeatedly. On such a large ship, it’s likely there will be lots of people you see once and maybe not again. Say hi the first time you see someone!

  • Short commutes between various parts of the ship. If you need to get from one end of the ship to the other, it’ll be a bit of a trek.

Not For…

  • Mostly Americans, but with a good amount of international visitors from all over the world, including Europe

  • The full age range of boys will be onboard, but this one skews the youngest of all Atlantis cruises

Crowd

  • Lively and energetic, at times rambunctious, especially during party time

  • The most sex-positive and sex-forward of any Atlantis cruise

Vibe

  • Yes, if the hustle-and-bustle of larger crowds and things being busier and fuller (like restaurants and theaters) doesn’t bother you.

  • Especially good for younger cruisers and those that like parties.

Good for New Cruisers?

Port Hotels

If you’re taking this cruise, check out the areas I recommend staying the night before your sailing, including some hotel options.

Remember, you always want to get to the port city at least a day before the cruise sets sail. Flying in in the morning is risky as your flight could be canceled or delayed, and the ship will not wait for you!
