Virgin is probably my favorite cruise line to sail on right now for an Atlantis cruise. Both the company and their ships were built from the ground up to be adult-only - you won’t find a playground or kids splash zone on the pool deck, but you will find a tattoo parlor and a two-story nightclub.
Free Wi-Fi and non-alcoholic beverages and all-inclusive dining are my favorite things about sailing with Virgin Voyages. They even have food in reusable grab-n-go boxes for those times when you want a snack to go. Oh, and did I mention the free ice cream?
The JustJoeyT Forecast
Hey Joey, what’s this cruise gonna be like?
An all-gay Thanksgiving celebration
Escaping the cold and traditional Thanksgiving craziness
A blend of relaxation and entertainment, with some partying thrown in
A ship that doesn’t feel like it’s filled to the brim with boys
Best For…
Massive hardcore partying - it’s not a party cruise
Rowdy and high-energy crowd - on a holiday cruise the boys tend to be more balanced between having fun and relaxing
Not For…
Americans will make up the vast majority.
Age range should encompass the full range, particularly 30s to the 60s.
Crowd
Relaxing yet entertaining, fresh but laid-back - a unique mix of the holiday season coziness and cheer with the excitement and community of an Atlantis cruise.
Vibe
Good for New Cruisers?
Yes - especially for those looking for a more laidback experience for the holidays. You’ll get to sample a bit of everything that Atlantis cruises have to offer in a beginner-friendly way.

Port Hotels
If you’re taking this cruise, check out the areas I recommend staying the night before your sailing, including some hotel options.
Remember, you always want to get to the port city at least a day before the cruise sets sail. Flying in in the morning is risky as your flight could be canceled or delayed, and the ship will not wait for you!
